“Celebrating Life, Love and the Legacy of Family Moments”
Family is a beautiful, awesome, and fantastic gift. Life is so, so precious and beautiful—don’t take a second, minute or hour for granted.
Embrace each moment with thankfulness.
As I get older, I realize how important it is to spend time with loved ones, to celebrate their lives and share them with the world. Looking at my family, I think back to when it was only a dream—something I never could have imagined having. Today, I feel blessed beyond words.
I am grateful for my loving, adorable and handsome husband and our wonderful, talented and caring son. When I look back on my life, I can see more clearly than ever that God’s grace has been with me all along, guiding me toward a purpose He wants me to fulfill.
It’s stronger now, unexplainable…
Spend less time arguing about things that don’t matter. Instead, cherish the fact that you have a life, family and dear friends. Make your time on earth the best you’ve ever spent.
Let Someone Know They’re in Your Heart!
Before you go to sleep tonight, call someone—a friend or family member you haven’t spoken to in a while—and tell them you love them.
What is it about age that brings wisdom and maturity? Holy moly… haha! I’m laughing as I write this because it’s true! Come on, you’ve gotta agree; otherwise, you’re not being honest with yourself.

Oh, back to my reason for writing this blog… Sanguine—that’s me. Look it up! Love it. 🥰
My parents were the greatest visionaries in my life. Yes, my childhood was dysfunctional, but looking back, I see now that they did the best they could. Dysfunctional generational trauma is a real issue in our society. Speaking as someone who has seen its effects, I’m here to provide hope and guidance.
So, listen up…
If you’ve experienced this, seek help and support. Move forward. There’s a whole lot of living to do, as well as loving yourself and others. My mission each year is to bring family together, whether it’s for Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas. I’m making it happen. No more pouring resentment on the fire. No more! It’s time to foster relationships, laughter, forgiveness, inner peace, and LOVE, baby!
There’s nothing sweeter than walking around the house, seeing cousins, nephews, nieces, great aunts, grandmothers, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles—all together. And the card games? They’re a hit! A must-have at every gathering.
Recently, after our Thanksgiving dinner, our son left us a beautiful text message about how grateful he is that I take the time to create these family moments. His words: “It means a lot to me.” I cried in my heart and smiled from ear to ear. Why? Because I am creating a legacy for him to carry on with his family, one he can duplicate for generations.
I know my parents are looking down from heaven, grateful for this wonderful reunion. You know that song, “What a feeling… what a rush!”
So, on that note, live your life with happiness, peace, love and JOY! 😊
