"Believe In Yourself" Graffiti

Wasted Talent

Why is mentoring so important for our minds

Looking back at my life, my parents did the best they could with what they had. But if they could have just spent time providing guidance and setting me up mentally to believe in myself, I know my journey would have been a lot less complicated.

When you bring children into the world they have only one choice, which is to survive with parental guidance.

Without it, they strive for answers we have not equipped them with.

Not nagging them, but listening, talking, sharing stories and expanding upon THEIR dreams. If your children don’t have it within themselves naturally, not a problem.

Seek out professionals to assist children with their journey, help them understand themselves and what they need to grow and learn. The act of finding someone else to help is also a form of mentoring by demonstrating the importance of asking for help when you need it.

It’s not an option, it’s a duty.

Our duty as parents.

Life will pull you each and every way possible, it’s when you believe in yourself, even when it’s frightening and doubt tries to creep in, you can always visit that part of your mind to seek guidance.

I hear a lot of people say “It’s my parents fault of where I’m at in my life.”

Realistically when you look at it, a part of that realization is true.

When you get older, you have a choice to seek guidance or just exist.

Coming to Canada 🇨🇦 was a huge change for me. I missed my mates, lifestyle, and home – England!
Without me boring you with my story, feel free to visit my bio on my website www.kimberlite.ca to read more about me, and how I got to be where I am.

Canada changed my destiny. I met my wonderful husband, gave birth to a phenomenal son.

They mean the world to me and I’m so blessed.

All the above blessings did not come without a price, during my challenges and growing up, mentors came into my life – thank God.

Great friends – let’s clarify “great”. I mean, friends I can trust with my life!
Not Facebook or any other social media platforms with millions of unknown followers.

Friends whom are few, but so rare and precious to me.
They guided me through turbulent times and helped me discover myself, including my wonderful husband.

Shaun let me know I have a rare gift of communication, he’s seen it with his own eyes.

Then Kimberlite Enterprises was born.

Another rare jewel whom inspires my life, our son Michael. He never excepts “No!”.

He continually works so hard to achieve HIS goals.
Not knowing each decision he makes propels my dreams!

Folks, what I’m saying is without mentoring and guidance from parents and family, you can still achieve your dreams.

Don’t get me wrong, you will experience challenges, hardships that try to deter you from succeeding, but you will always revisit that part of your mind filled with all the nuggets stored to refuel your soul.

You can and will find your way, with help from others… help from yourself.

Find your mentors, find great friends. Most importantly, do this whilst remaining true to yourself.

Remember your worth.

Always.
